Scoring points in www.sportsprediction.net couldn't be easier.

Each correct prediction of the winner of a sporting event will be awarded 10 points.

If an entrants predicted team or individual does not win a tournament, but they finish runner-up, then that prediction will be awarded 5 points.

If an entrant predicted team or individual does not either win the tournament or finish as runner-up, then that competitor will not receive any points.

The entrant or entrants at the end of the 12 month competition that has the highest total points from correct predictions will win the various prizes on offer.

As yet, it is undecided if, in the event of a tie, that 2 or more competitors will share the First prize. In this eventuality a play-off might be introduced, so that there is an overall winner who can be crowned the single #1 sports fan in the UK.
